Refund & Cancellation Policy
This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds work for sessions booked and paid through the Therapify platform operated by Therapify Technologies Private Limited ("Therapify", "we", "us"). It forms part of our Terms & Conditions.
1. Booking & payment
When a patient/client books a paid session, the session fee is collected through our payment partner (Cashfree Payments and/or other licensed payment service providers). Funds are settled to the practitioner's or clinic's linked account after the session is delivered, less the applicable platform fee and taxes.
2. Cancellation by the patient/client
- Cancellation within the practitioner's free-cancellation window (by default, at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time, unless the practitioner specifies otherwise): the patient is eligible for a full refund of the session fee.
- Late cancellation (after the free-cancellation window): refunds are at the discretion of the practitioner and may be partial or unavailable, depending on the practitioner's stated policy.
- No-show (patient does not attend without cancelling): generally non-refundable, subject to the practitioner's policy.
3. Cancellation by the practitioner
If a practitioner cancels a paid session and it is not rescheduled to the patient's satisfaction, the patient is entitled to a full refund of the session fee.
4. Free bookings
Free intake calls, unpaid bookings, and no-charge consultations carry no fee and therefore no refund is applicable.
5. How refunds are processed
- Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method used at the time of booking, through our payment partner.
- Refunds are typically initiated within 3–5 business days of approval. The time for the amount to reflect in your account depends on your bank or card issuer and the payment partner, and may take up to 7–10 business days.
- Where a session has been delivered, the platform fee is generally non-refundable. Where a full refund is issued because a session was not delivered, the platform fee is reversed.
6. How to request a refund or cancellation
You can cancel or request rescheduling from your Therapify account, or by contacting the practitioner directly. For refund disputes or assistance, contact us using the details below and include your booking reference, the practitioner's name, and the reason for the request.
7. Disputes & chargebacks
We encourage you to contact us before initiating a chargeback so we can help resolve the matter. We will cooperate in good faith to investigate disputes in line with the payment partner's processes and applicable law.
